Summer Hockey Programs

Summer Skills

Summer Skills is available for the player that wants to keep their skills sharp over the summer, as well as learn new skills. This program will be run by Tim Kinsman, and the coaching staff to better prepare our players for the upcoming fall season, develop individual skill, and help incorporate each skill into game like situations.  

This clinic provides each player an opportunity to advance their individual and team skills in a challenging and fun environment while meeting new teammates and making new friends.

Clinic Focus

  • Skating and edge work 
  • Advanced stick handling techniques    
  • Shooting and scoring techniques
  • Game specific skills
  • Vision and "hockey sense"
  • Battles and competition drills
  • End of summer scrimmage

Program Details

  • Mite: Friday, 5:30-6:30pm
  • Squirt: Wednesday, 5:40-6:40pm
  • Peewee: Tuesday, 6:50-7:50pm
  • Bantam: Wednesday, 6:50-7:50pm
  • Midget: Monday, 8:30-9:30pm
  • June 5 - August 5
  • $146/$165

Summer Pond Hockey

Pond Hockey is a great way to sharpen skills, and have fun while doing it. Each game will force players to work in tight spaces, and get better at making quick moves and decisions. 

Pond Hockey will run right after the Summer Skills Clinic. The intention is for each player to take the skills they learn, and apply them to game like situations, while it is fresh in their mind.  The coaches on the ice will encourage creativity, competitive play, and teamwork.

  • Squirt: Wednesday, 6:45-7:40pm
  • Peewee: Tuesday, 7:55-8:50pm
  • Bantam: Wednesday, 7:55-8:50pm

Summer Power Skating

Power Skating is for the player that wants to take their skating, endurance, power, and speed to the next level. 

This program will have a laser focus on skating, while teaching skaters to utilize proper form and technique. Each player will be pushed to their limits in a positive and extremely challenging environment. The class is open to all mite aged players with at least one year of hockey experience.
